Playwright Paul Plamper’s play offers a quirky probe into the heart of Christmas Eve celebrations in the middle of a family circle. Three years, three festive evenings that have little in common with the feast of the Nativity and revolve around recurring comic misunderstandings, empty phrases and disappearing rituals. Of these, only one survives - the playing of the carol Silent Night together. But even the flutes aren’t in tune...
