The Last Goose
A drama in which you get closer to the political kitchen than you have ever hoped to. The Last Goose, subtitled “a gastronomical and political drama” is in the spirit of Ubuesque comedy and rather than a satire on the arrogance and opportunism of political representatives in power it is a merciless reflection of the society’s indifference and manipulability.
The play was broadcast by Czech Radio Vltava on 12 November, i.e. after Saint Martin’s Day, but more importantly, in the week before the anniversary of the November 1989 events. The essential factor for this radio drama is the performance of actor Miroslav Hanuš as Politician.
