International jury to decide on festival winners
Three international juries will sit at this year’s edition of the Prix Bohemia Radio festival of radio production, deciding on the winners of the Drama, Documentary and News Report categories. Let us introduce you to the first two.
A total of 15 jury members will decide on the winners of the 34th edition. Each category will see five domestic and international radio professionals meet.
Prior to the actual main competition, the jury carried out a pre-selection of works submitted for the main competition. The evaluation of the pieces in the main competition will take place by secret vote following a public playback of the competing programmes and reports.
On Monday 19 March a decision will be made in the Documentary competition category by a jury comprising Eva Nachmilnerová (Czech Republic), Julie Kárová (Czech Republic), Martin Klusák (Czech Republic), Leslie Rosin (Germany) and Silvia Lahner (Austria).
On Wednesday 21 March the Drama category competition will take place, with the winner selected by jury members Marina Feltlová (Czech Republic), Ondřej Urban (Czech Republic), Štěpán Pácl (Czech Republic), Ilinca Stihi (Romania) and Reto Ott (Switzerland).
Three main prizes will be award in each Prix Bohemia Radio competition category. A student jury will also make evaluations, deciding on the winners of Student Prizes from among all programmes and reports entered in the competition, regardless of the expert jury’s pre-selection.
