Eva Roither
studied literature and dramatics at the University of Vienna and at the Institute of Theatre, Film and Media Science.
She began writing for several newspapers in 1990 and since 1993 she has been working for the cultural radio channel at ORF Ö1 (Austrian Broadcasting Corporation).
Author of many features on various subjects, ranging from portraits of writers like Carlos Fuentes, A. L. Kennedy, Tahar Ben Jelloun, Etel Adnan to documentaries concerning social policy. Since 2004 Co-Producer of the seriál feature program Hörbilder.
Coach at EBU International Training Master Schoul 2010-2011.
Winner of the featureprize ´08 of Stiftung Radio Basel for Murder in the Mountains and Winner of several national prizes for her works in radio.
Together with Martin Leitner Winner of the PRIX EUROPA Best European Radio Documentary of the Year 2011 for Ladies of the Manor. Scenes from a marriage of convenience.
Edwin Brys
Journalist and radio producer, has been for many years head of the Radio Documentary and Drama Department at the VRT-Belgium. He also lead the Training Department Radio and Television of the VRT and teaches radio documentary at the High School for Media in Brussels. For many years he conducted the EBU International Feature Conference. Since In 2002 he started up with Nathalie Labourdette and coordinates the EBU Master School for young radio talents. His productions were awarded with the Prix Italia, Prix Futura and Premios Ondas.
Jan Sedmidubský
Editor, script editor and Head of Spoken Word. Graduated from Faculty of Arts of Charles University, Prague, majoring in Film Studies. Since 1999 emloyed with Czech Radio as a director, editor, presenter and script editor. He has produced radio documentaries and documentary series focused on history of the 20th century and broadcast live contact programmes on current political topics for Czech Radio 6. Director and script editor of a number of documentaries from the production of Czech Radio 6 and Czech Radio Vltava. Nowadays a script editor in the Creative Current Affairs and Documentary Group and concentrates mainly on creative work with Czech Radio Archives (programme Archiv Plus).
Stanislav Kaclík
Graduated from Slovak Technical University in 1986. Works in Slovak Radio as sound designer since 1991, member of Experimental Studio since 1994. Participated as sound designer in production of several hundreds radio drama, music and documentary programmes. Some of them were awarded national and international prizes, such as Prix de Music de Radio Brno, Prix Bohemia, Prix Italia (short list), etc.
Started to produce radio documentaries and features as author in 2007. His first radio feature The Three Miracles was awarded the Special Prize of the jury at Slovak Radio Festival in 2009.
Was member of the jury in Radio Documentary cathegory at Prix Italia in 2010.
Ulf Köhler
Head of MDR Feature editorial department. 1998-95 studied journalism and eastern Europe sciences in Leipzig. Since 1989 freelance author. In addition to reports for journals first documentaries for broadcasters. 1995, after a stay abroad in Moscow, predominantly freelance author and editor for several ARD institutions. Since August 2002, head of MDR feature editorial department. Kurt Magnus Prize 1995 for "Let’s drink to Mischa - Russia in March". Member of radio feature programme group of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). Deputy chairman of the advisory board of the CIVIS media foundation.
