With only a slight amount of hyperbole, one could say that his barbershop is the city of Brno´s favourite confessional.
He is all at once a genius barber, a monk, a husband, a mime, an activist, a father, a gallery owner, a grandfather, a dancing shop and a calm regard. As a very young man he helped win an Oscar for the film Amadeus and was invited to Hollywood. Instead his fate led him to the city of Brno and in the end he became famous as a barber in Paris. But nothing lasts forever. A documentary of Jan Špilar´s confessions.
