Dynasty – Lehman Brothers
When the global economic crisis caused by the collapse of Lehman Brothers in the US occurred in 2008, Italian writer and playwright Stefano Massini decided to find out what led to this event.
Until then, as he himself admits, he was not very interested in economics, so he started to study materials about the history of this famous banking family. The result of his three-year work was the emergence of the monumental theatre trilogy Lehman Brothers, which became a world sensation. In addition to Italy, it has been staged in theatres in Germany, France, England, the USA and other countries, including the Czech Republic, and has received numerous awards.
