Berka Decides to Die
Is there ever a situation when a person is entitled to take their own life? And what responsibility do they have for this decision?
“When I think about what will be left behind after I die, I think of the parallel of sheep slaughtering. What will be left after they die? Meat, bones. Nothing more, I think.”
Berka lives with his girlfriend in a village where they keep sheep. He describes himself as a madman, psychopath and horrible animal murderer. In March 2017 he publishes an entry on his blog in which he explains why he has decided to leave. A few months later Berka´s unsuspecting friend arrives at his house. Just like every year Berka will kill sheep for meat. Ondřej assists him and finds out about Berka´s fatal plan.
