Belarus: The Protests Continue
Since the rigged presidential elections in August, the protests in Belarus have continued unabated, with thousands of people still taking to the streets every weekend.
The regime is reacting with increasingly harsh violence, several people have already died, and even the last independent media are being silenced. Carola Schneider spoke with Belarusian activists and representatives of civil society who describe the brutality with which the authorities are trying to silence critics.
