Second Home in Bakonyszücs
The Second Home was dreamed and later created by Márta Bakos-Tóth, a psycho-oncologist, who had been working for many decades in the Center of the Hungarian Children’s Oncology Working Group, performing the psychological care of the children and their families in the hospital.
She has been wise to identify the fact that in a long, up to one year period of treatment, children are taken away from their families, friends and they often suffer from this new environment which is hindering their recovery.
