Peace Festival in Chemnitz

Since Daniel H. in Chemnitz was violently killed on 26 August by several stab wounds, the city doesn’t find peace. Images of right-wing demonstrators who stretch out their arm at the Marx monument to the Hitler salute, went around the world. Today, a broad coalition of 70 associations, organizations and initiatives want to show that Chemnitz is more than that. The motto: "Heart instead of Hate." The goal: not to leave the field to AfD, Pegida and co.
