For the first time at Prix Bohemia Radio! Multimedia to compete this year as well
This year's Prix Bohemia Radio will be exceptional, with competitors presenting in the new category Multimedia at the festival for the very first time.
A new category at Prix Bohemia Radio 2019! It will be of interest for all the connoisseurs that enjoy sounds, videos and photos on the internet. We want to show what interesting things are currently going on in the field of audio and multimedia.
Czech Radio has decided to expand the international festival Prix Bohemia Radio to include a fourth category – Multimedia. In April 2019, creators will present their audio works with video accompaniment in Olomouc. For this "zero year", the organisers have chosen the theme of Audio at a Glance.

Authors that have managed to offer listeners sound, images, video and interaction can apply for the competition. "We want to show projects where the audio entertains everyone and where audio also receives its own image and visual feeling and where, in the online environment, listening to audio does not begin and end just by pressing the play button," says the Director of New Media at Czech Radio Jiří Malina, who is the guarantor of the festival's new competition category.
Also part of the programme for the zero year will be an exhibition and presentation of the most interesting works that have currently been created in Europe. They will have one thing in common: sound in a new form.
