Enter your work in the Prix Bohemia Radio festival
Drama. Documentary. News Report. These now traditional three categories will feature in the 35th edition of the Prix Bohemia Radio international festival of radio production. Submissions can be sent in until 18 January 2019.
The Prix Bohemia Radio festival returns to Olomouc with a selection of the best radio works from 1 to 4 April 2019. Visitors can once again look forward to four days packed with radio work listening sessions, debates, concerts and theatre performances. The face of the festival and its honorary president will again be Hana Maciuchová.
The competition categories of Drama, Documentary and News Report have been declared for the 35th edition of the Prix Bohemia Radio international festival. Entries may be submitted in the period from 1 November 2018 to 18 January 2019. Conditions for entering pieces in the competition and submission form for individual categories can be found here.
Each competition section will be judged by a dedicated five-member expert jury. In the News Report category the jury will select four pieces from among the Czech reports submitted to go through to the main competition. Invited radio stations from other countries will each put forward two news reports for the main competition.
Evaluation of the pieces in the main competition will be carried out by means of a secret vote following playbacks of competing programmes and reports. Three main Prix Bohemia Radio prizes will be handed out in each competition category.
The winner of the Student Prize will again be chosen by a student jury that will select a piece from among all of the competing programmes, regardless of the expert commission’s pre-selection.
Accreditation for visitors and members of the media will be launched in February 2019.
