Black Water

1. září 2021

Two friend groups, one magical night, and water washing away differences of wealth, faith, and origin. But what will remain of their bold plans and fragile relationships twenty years later?

This play by leading German playwright Roland Schimmelpfennig is a dramatic poem about the differences and imbalances among worlds existing in parallel, and about the fear, prejudice, and apathy that deepen the gulf between them. But it’s also about love and tenderness. Aleš Vrzák has prepared this radio adaptation starring Magdaléna Borová, Jana Stryková, Marek Holý, and Václav Neužil.
