The next reportage of Latvian Radio special correspondent Indra Sprance from Ukraine, where she works since the beginning of the Russian invasion in February 2022.
In this reportage, Indra Sprance reports from the front line on how the volunteer organization "Save Ukraine" is evacuating civilians from the front line. It is not easy because many do not want to leave their homes, but when they do change their minds and want to get to a safer place, it is very difficult because there is bombing and it is more and more difficult and dangerous for volunteers to reach these people. Indra Sprance reports from the outskirts of Bahmut, where heavy fighting is taking place at the time. Indra is not only watching, but has also participated in the evacuation herself.
