Mom, I’m trans
At birth, he was told he was a woman. But as he grew up, Andrew Novák gradually realized that he was a man—and that he wanted to transition.
This was difficult for some of his family to accept, so he withdrew into himself. Communication with his mother was particularly difficult. In the documentary Mom, I'm Trans, he returns to this period and, with hindsight, looks for ways to facilitate mutual understanding between both sides.
