I don't owe anyone anything
Late September evening. Two passengers get into the car of Sergey, a Ukrainian cab driver from Gdansk. One of them is holding a beer in his hand. He does not respond to the driver's request not to consume alcohol in the car. The man taunts Sergey about his nationality and starts beating him.
The Ukrainian in defense uses pepper gas and calls out to other drivers for help. The passengers flee. Shortly after the incident, Sergey posts a video from the car's camera and... what he would never have expected happens.
What does Sergey's job look like today – a year and a half after the fateful course? What questions does he hear from his clients? What do Poles say about the war in Ukraine? The hero of the report is not afraid to speak openly about why he does not want to fight on the front lines. “I don't owe anyone anything and I'm not going to die for the interests of politicians,” he frankly admits.
Antoni Rokicki drives with Sergey through Gdansk, asks the protagonist about the most difficult moments in his new country and takes him to some important historical place.
