Hotel Hate
What kind of hate might one encounter in everyday life? In a pub, on a train or in a hotel?
Over six years, audio-documentarist Brit Jensen recorded all kinds of hate – random and everyday. Over time, however, the recordings began to take up uneasy space on her computer, and she didn't know what to do with it. And so an audio documentary about "lesbian cows", "rusty cunts" and "faggots with crooked teeth" was created. As the author discovered, she's not alone. Women encounter insults and hatred quite often in the public sphere. Welcome to Hotel Hate!
