As Far As Impossible
“As Far As Impossible” is a play produced by the Comédie de Genève, with text and direction by the Portuguese Tiago Rodrigues, director of the Avignon Festival.
It is a play for two actors, two actresses with live musical accompaniment on stage by Portuguese drummer Gabriel Ferrandini. The text was constructed from interviews conducted with more than thirty humanitarian aid workers, resulting in a theatrical creation that exposes, in a harsh and poetic, often touching way, the intense emotional pressure that overloads these men and women who support victims and displaced people of the conflicts that affect several regions of the world today.
