Behind the Scenes: Kavčí hory
The podcast " Behind the Scenes: Kavčí hory" tells the stories of six significant figures in the history of Czechoslovak Television. Through their fates, the podcast's creators, historians and Czech Television archive editors Jakub Adamus and Jakub Hošek, illustrate different ways of coping with the challenges of working in media in the late 20th century.
All six episodes rely on archival materials from Czechoslovak Television, extensive source research and interviews with witnesses across fields, from history and politics to media. This approach allows the stories of these individuals to be told comprehensively and with context. The podcast was created in collaboration between the CT archive and the website ctart.cz, with the opening theme composed by Ivan Acher.
